Hi and welcome again to another blog post.

In this blog post I am going to talk about the Syspect Profile Database. The profile database contains profiles that we have created to allow you to use with System integrity inspector client side software (or you can modify the profiles with the creator software). The profiles allow you to easily test common windows configuration settings, and application settings. They allow you to see how System Integrity Inspector can be used to test a set of rules across multiple machine, greatly reducing the time needed to check a particular configuration.

You can search the profile datatbase by keyword, or operating system name. If you prefer you can also browse the profile database to see all the profiles that we have created.

An example profile in the database is System and Network Information profile. This profile gathers system and network information. It is best practice to include a generic information gathering profile like this along with a profile targeting more specific information.

Some of the profiles include a sample profile and sample output report so you can see how it works.

Some of the current profiles that we have created are listed below:

Support - ProfileDatabase - System-and-Network-Information

Support - ProfileDatabase - Is-Reboot-Pending

Support - ProfileDatabase - Is-UAC-enabled

Support - ProfileDatabase - Internet-Explorer-Version
